Qiara Pregnancy & Breastfeeding helps to relieve or reduce breast pain & discomfort from mastitis. It maintains a healthy microflora in mum and baby.
Probiotics are beneficial or “good” bacteria that are found naturally throughout our bodies including in the bowel, gastrointestinal tract and breast milk.
Probiotic bacteria generally account for 80% of the bacteria in our bodies but due to external factors such as diet, medications or stress, the micro-bacterial balance in our bodies can be affected and pathogenic (bad) bacteria can thrive. This can lead to issues such as infection, gastrointestinal problems and even breast tenderness.
Probiotics can make it more difficult for pathogenic (bad) bacteria to survive in your body by competing with them for resources. However, not all probiotics are the same and it is important to find the right probiotic researched and evidenced for your needs.
Qiara Pregnancy and Breastfeeding is recommended to be taken during pregnancy and breastfeeding, or even pre-conception. QiaraTM may also help maintain a healthy microflora both in the body and in breast milk.
Simply take a sachet a day with a glass of water and keep breastfeeding with QiaraTM. Take one sachet daily during the last trimester of pregnancy and whilst breastfeeding until baby is six months of age. Up to two sachets can be taken daily. Dosage can be continued through entire period of breastfeeding and beyond.
There is no need to keep Qiara in the fridge provided it is stored below 25C. So if you live in a warm or tropical climate where the inside temperature regularly exceeds 25C, then you should store it in the refrigerator when you get it home.
It is recommended that Qiara™ be taken by mothers during the last trimester of pregnancy and the exclusive period of breastfeeding. Qiara™ may be taken during the entire period of breastfeeding.
Qiara™ can also be taken:
- At the first signs of breast pain or mastitis;
- To help restore good bacteria in breast milk during or after anti-biotics or a c- section.
It is recommended that you take Qiara preferably a minimum of 2 hours after taking any antibiotics. In this way the antibiotic can do its work and the probiotic can repopulate the “prolife” Lactobacillus Fermentum. It is important to continue taking Qiara during and after the antibiotic course is completed.
QiaraTM does not contain dairy, lactose, yeast, eggs, gluten, nuts, soy, animal products, preservatices, artificial flavours, colouring, sweetener or stimulants
There are 28 sachets in each box of Qiara. At the recommended one sachet per day, a box will last four weeks.
